Brookings County Roads

Bowes Construction has paved many county roads over the years. These jobs normally span a few miles and require a few services. First off a mill is brought over the road removing the top 2 inches. After removal, a base mat of asphalt is laid with tack to increase the stickiness as well as revitalizing the asphalt below. Next, a top layer of asphalt is added to give the road a whole new look. Roads that typically undergo this process last typically 20 years then require a new overlay.
