South Dakota State University was recently able to update their Performing Arts Center with the help of Oscar Larson, founder of Larson’s Manufacturing. Bowes Construction was contracted on this job to complete a few tasks. First off, starting in 2017 Bowes excavated and graded the site to make the ground ready for construction of the performing arts center as well as the parking lot. Along with grading Bowes removed the parking lot, curbs, and gutters. Next engineer fill was installed to further level the ground and finalize it for construction. After the construction of the new addition, Bowes returned in 2019 to complete the paving of the parking lot as well as striping the lot.
